Celia Chavez – She is a personal friend of mine, ok so we went through grade school together, but that’s besides the point. A torchlight singer with great range and ability from smooth jazz to edgy pop sound, check her site and listen to some of her songs! (Note: Aquamarine and Wishing Well are among 2 of my favorite by this great artist!) In addition to her .com she has a Myspace page where you can listen and leave her comments!
Dre Allen – The Ghetto Rock Star, edgy, deep lyrics and smooth sounds make this singer one who I could listen to for hours. You’ll enjoy his ability to pull you into his song and feel his words wrap around you. Whether he’s singing solo or collaborating on a song you’ll love the tracks he lays down. Kirk Franklin - Nu Nation Ministries - I am sure plenty of people have heard of Kirk Frankin along with Gods Property. He has taken Gospel music to another level and made it not only cool but socially acceptable for people to enjoy and listen to. You can't help but get up, dance and sing along with this spiritually lifting music! You can also find samplings of his music on his Myspace page.
Amanda Marshall – Her pop/R&B style of music will catch and keep your attention, packed full of songs full of emotion and attitude like “Sunday Morning After” and “Everybody Has A Story” or her more soulful songs like “Fall From Grace” (my personal favorite) or “Give Up Giving In”. You will find yourself singing along to her catchy tunes. You can find her also on her Myspace page. Enjoy this great singer. André Bell – Having met this talented man in 2001, through the introduction of my girlfriend Deanna Rogers (who resides currently in Mountain Home, ID), I was delighted to find out that he was not only a wonderful soul but a talented musician as well. With an amazing gift of being able to hear music in his dreams and the skill to recreate and record them, André was a person that I was truly blessed to meet. To my disappointment, I have lost touch with him over the past few years and I hope that if he finds this blog that he is doing well.
